The Taller de Arquitectura is formed by a team with some 30 years’ experience. Its ability to work in concordance with local cultures is backed by some five hundred projects and hundreds of works completed throughout the world, and performed with understanding for and adaptation to North-South and East-West cultures.
The history of the Taller de Arquitectura (1962-1992) demonstrates the transition of a multi-disciplinary and cosmopolitan team from its "amateur" beginnings to the professionalism of the current organization.
The Taller de Arquitectura has head offices and production centres in Barcelona, Paris and New York along with offices in other cities where it works on a permanent basis. The management system is designed as a permanent network in order to favour cross-departmental organization, and to make use of the greatest potential in design, research and production, and employ the minimum needs in organization and control.
