Space and life

1989
Divided into three parts -Power, Creating and Building-, the book introduces us to the double route of a life devoted since his early youth to the concept of large-scale architecture, according to the four levels of essential action needed to make it possible: access “to the kingdom of money” or to political power prepared to finance large works; the artistic concept itself of the project; its subsequent development in the by-now famous Taller de Arquitectura created more almost thirty years by Ricardo Bofill in Barcelona; and, finally, in its laborious, long and complex construction. Bofill also confesses to us here the points of reference which feed his different sources of inspiration and which guide his insatiable curiosity.
