Ricardo Bofill presents here all the French projects of the Taller de Arquitectura completed between 1978 and 1981. This architecture questions but, at the same time, attempts to respond to the dissatisfaction arising from the massacre of cities and the general mediocrity of buildings.
Recuperating the architectural images of "classical culture" in its projects, the Taller attempts to reconcile the symbolic and social functions of architecture with the economic imperatives of today – social housing, prefabrication.
