The Place du Marché Saint-Honoré has played an important role in the history of Paris’ squares. For many years this iconic square was occupied by a multi-storey car park. The decision to revitalize the area resulted in the demolition of the car park structure and the construction of a transparent five-storey building accommodating offices, shops, basement parking and a fire station. At the same time, the square was remodeled and repaved, and redesigned as a grand open-air living room.
